International conference and overseas study support are available to eligible Higher Degree Research students through the Faculties Grants in Aid scheme and the Centre for Learning Innovation. The Grants In Aid scheme provides finiancial assistance for HDR students for both overseas study grants and international conference attendance. Domestic conference support is also available, via the CLI conference support scheme, for students wishing to present their research findings. Important information regarding guidelines and and the required applicaiton forms are located in Procedures and Forms (CLI forms).
Research support is provided to all students in the form of a $1000 allocation for Doctoral students and $500 for Masters by Research students. These funds are to support your study and may be used on routine materials needed for the research. Approval by you supervisor is necessary and funding is limited to specific items listed in the linked schedule. Funds are only available after confirmation. You need to contact administrative staff in the Centre for details of how to access.
