Ethics and Confidentiality |

We are interested in the views and experiences of you and/or your organisation relating to the setting and implementation of national child care standards. Only grouped data will be reported and no personally identifiable details will be recorded in the presentation of results.
Your individual responses will remain anonymous and confidential. The information you provide will be of valuable assistance in delivering a proper review of the current national child care standards. Thus, please respond to the survey on this web-site honestly and openly. Collection of data for this Project has full ethical clearance from the University Human Research Ethics Committee. Voluntary participation Your participation in this project is voluntary. If you do agree to participate, you can withdraw from participation at any time without comment or penalty. Your decision to participate will in no way impact upon your current or future relationship with any of the stakeholders. Storage, maintenance and use of the data This is a Government contract where the Project Report is the property of the Government. However, we the Consultants, remain the custodians of the raw data for this study now and for a period of 3 years (November 2008) at which time the data will be shredded. The raw data is to be used for the purposes of analysing the evidence. The analyses address the questions asked and enable further study of child care standards and quality matters in relation to ECEC systems.
