The Research Assistant - Professional and Intellectual Development (RA-pid) project is an ongoing initiative for RAs in the Faculty. RA-PID comprises on-line and face-to-face courses and workshops or seminars aimed at honing skills and knowledge to facilitate research processes. Topics include data collection, literature searches and reviews, publication of research findings and other facets of research. Our RA-pid Wiki site contains all of the relevant information for this project, as well as:

  • important RA induction information such as how to get paid, setting up your office, and important contacts
  • details about upcoming RA networking and support opportunities
  • an online forum for RAs to discuss research-related topics
  • our skills and employment database.
